Paying your rent (2021)
By paying rent you agree to
the rules of tenancy of Kettering Allotments.
Your membership subscription to the Society entitles
you to voting rights as described in our
- Rent is
due on 1st January
- Rent has increased for 2021 - the first
increase for nine years, so total to pay for a 10 pole
plot is now £32
- If you do not pay rent
your plot will be re-let to someone on the waiting list
- You must
include a reference of your name and plot number
- You can

- You can
pay by cheque, post to the treasurer (address below)
- You can
pay at HSBC branch in Kettering

EG for John Pumpkin of plot 1 on Scott Road, the

You can pay in person at the
HSBC branch in Kettering, but remember to include a
reference as above.
If you do not pay your rent, your tenancy will be terminated
and your plot will be let to someone on the waiting list.
If you do not have a printer, use plain paper and write the
required information from the above form and sign.
The rent is due annually in January and rent collection and
tenancy renewal letters are posted in December to give details
of where to post your cheques and how payments can be made.
Prompt payment ensures that you keep your plot.
You may be able to pay via your field steward.
Cheques should be payable to Kettering Allotments. Remember to
include your annual subscription ( £2 for 2021)

so for 2021 a typical large 10 pole plot costs £32
including the subscription
for a small plot (5 pole) the total is £17 per year
If you do not pay by January 16th, your plot may be let to
somebody else on our waiting list.
