Paying your rent (2019)

By paying rent you agree to the rules of tenancy of Kettering Allotments.
Your membership subscription to the Society entitles you to voting rights as described in our constitution.

 The annual rent is due on 1st January 2019 (download rent form)

You can pay by post, using online banking, or directly at HSBC Kettering Branch
If paying by post, please post your cheque, payable to

 Kettering Allotments to the treasurer

 (or deliver your payment  personally to the treasurer)

You must include a reference of your surname, field (first letter) and plot number
.
EG for John Pumpkin of plot 1 on Scott Road, the reference would be PumpkinS1


You can pay in person at the HSBC branch in Kettering, but remember to include a reference as above.

If you do not pay your rent, your tenancy will be terminated and your plot will be let to someone on the waiting list.

If you do not have a printer, use plain paper and write the required information from the above form and sign.

The rent is due annually in January and rent collection and tenancy renewal letters are posted in December to give details of where to post your cheques and how payments can be made. Prompt payment ensures that you keep your plot.

You may be able to pay via your field steward.

Cheques should be payable to Kettering Allotments. Remember to include your annual subscription ( £2 for 2019)

The rents for 2019 are the same as 2018- no increase this year!

Current rent is £2 per pole, so for 2019 a typical 10 pole plot costs £22 including the subscription.

If you do not pay by January 16th, your plot may be let to somebody else on our waiting list.
